Volunteer With Us

Volunteers are an important part of The Insight Alliance team. From helping at events to working in our clothing closet, our volunteers help with a diversity of tasks.

Volunteer Opportunities

  1. Clothing Closet: we utilize volunteers (ages 18+) in our Good Neighbor Clothing Closet to sort clothing, keep things organized, support shoppers, and help process orders. Volunteers shifts for our clothing closet include:

    • Mondays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon

    • Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

  2. Donation Drives: volunteers help organize collection drives in their community (neighborhood, school, workplace, place of worship, etc.) for key items that we distribute to program participants. Items we’d love your help collecting, include: new socks and underwear for men and women, new hygiene items like shampoo, soap, deodorant, and toothbrushes/toothpaste, and new and gently-used clothing items (NO stains/tears/missing buttons or zippers).

  3. FUNraisers: there are lots of fun ways to help raise money for The Insight Alliance, and we’d love your help. The sky is the limit, but some cool ideas include hosting a house party and asking all guests to make a donation, hosting a bake sale or garage sale with proceeds going to The Insight Alliance, or raising money on social media for The Insight Alliance. We can help provide you with any marketing materials or other information you might need.
